Privacy

The public website

You can browse the website and use its fictional sample without creating an account. The sample runs in your browser; changes you make in it are not saved as a research project.

When Google Analytics is configured, the website loads Google's analytics script to measure visits and page use. Google may process cookie identifiers, device and browser information, referring pages and approximate location. These analytics run in coming-soon mode too. You can use your browser's privacy and cookie controls and learn more in Google's privacy policy. Do not put confidential information in website URLs.

Information in the research workspace

• Account information: your name, email, sign-in records, sessions and optional profile preferences.
• Research: your questions, project plans, selected subjects, notes, uploaded materials, conversations, findings, reports and review history.
• Evidence: source addresses, extracted passages, relevant dates, observations, access status and connections to your research.
• Service activity: job status, usage and allowance records, delivery status and information needed to diagnose failures.
• Billing: plan, subscription and payment-provider references. When paid billing is enabled, Stripe processes payment details; card numbers are not stored in the research database.

Why information is processed

Information is used to authenticate your account, carry out the research you authorize, keep accepted work and proposed updates distinct, operate scheduled checks, enforce your allowance, provide requested notifications and support the service.

Your profile supplies editable defaults. Changing an interest or writing preference does not itself change an active project's approved subjects, schedule or spending limit.

Models, search and other providers

Research can require sending relevant questions and source excerpts to configured model or search providers. External searches may disclose search terms to those providers. Avoid including unrelated confidential information in a research request. A public link does not grant access to private material behind it.

Stillwise does not sell private research or use it to train a Stillwise model. Provider handling is governed by the agreements and settings actually used; this is not a claim that every provider offers zero retention. The production provider list and applicable retention details will be published before public account access.

Private by default

Projects belong to the authorized account or workspace. Merely knowing a project identifier does not grant access. Public-source retrieval does not make your questions, notes or interpretations public.

Any enabled sharing control should show the report content that recipients can access. Sharing a report is narrower than sharing a complete project. Revoking a link stops future access through that link; it cannot retrieve copies a recipient already downloaded.

Retention, export and deletion

Account and project records are retained to provide the workspace and its history. A report export is a dated snapshot. Cancellation, pausing source checks and deleting a project are different actions.

Use available account controls to export or delete research. Contact privacy@stillwise.ai for an access, correction or deletion request that those controls do not resolve. We may need to verify the requester before disclosing or changing account data.

Exact production retention periods, backup expiry and any legally required exceptions will be disclosed before public launch. This preview does not promise immediate removal from every backup or indefinite storage after cancellation.

Report a security concern to security@stillwise.ai. Do not include passwords, full payment details or another person's confidential research in an initial message. Privacy questions can be sent to privacy@stillwise.ai.

The date above identifies this version. Material changes to production data handling will be communicated through the service or the account's contact address as appropriate.
